What To Stream This Week: Movies & TV Shows Streaming, Including You Season 3 and Succession

It’s that time of the week! Each Tuesday the team at Reelgood picks out a few of our most anticipated movie and TV shows coming to streaming. Hopefully, this list will help you figure out what to stream this week, from Netflix’s You Season 3 to the latest season of Succession.

You Season 3 (Netflix)

Netflix’s incredibly popular thriller series, You, is set to return for its third season later this week. The show stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, a book store manager and serial killer. Each season focuses on Joe’s romantic fixation with his potential victims, stalking escapades and his struggle with obsession. Watch You Season 3 on Netflix this Friday, October 15th.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (Prime Video)

Speaking of spooky thrillers, Prime Video is set to release a remake series of the 90’s slasher hit I Know What You Did Last Summer. This modern reimagining of the popular movie follows a group of teenagers who are stalked by a mysterious killer. The twist? The killer is the know on a fatal accident that occurred at prom the year before. Get to the bottom of who the killer is with I Know What You Did Last Summer this Friday, October 15th when it releases on Prime Video.

Bright: Samurai Soul (Netflix)

Netflix’s 2017 sci-fi fantasy flick Bright was unique in exploring an oft-overlooked setting, urban fantasy. While Bright was a hit for the streamer, fans will have to wait for Will Smith to hop back in action for Bright 2. However, Netflix isn’t done with the Bright setting just yet. Bright: Samurai Soul is a spin-off movie that takes place during Japan’s Meiji Restoration. The animated flick follows a similar buddy cop structure (with one of the cops being an Orc), as they escort a young elf who is protecting a powerful artifact. Check out Bright: Samurai Soul on Netflix, where it is streaming right now.

Succession Season 3 (HBOMax)

Jeremy Strong, Brian Cox and Sarah Snook star in Succession, HBO’s family drama that follows the ultra-wealthy Roy family. After Logan Roy decides to step down as the head of the families media conglomerate drama ensures as multiple parties begin to vie for control. The highly anticipated third season of Succession is scheduled to release later this week on Sunday, October 17th.

Out of Death (Hulu)

Bruce Willis and Jaime King star in Out of Death, a crime thriller that heads to Hulu later this week. When Shannon (played by King) sees a corrupt cop dealing drugs she is forced to go on the run. During her escape she enlists the help of a former sheriff (played by Willis) and together they navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Watch Out of Death when it hits Hulu on October 14th.

There you have it, folks! While these are a few of our most anticipated titles coming to streaming, it’s certainly not every new movie or show coming out this week.
