Marion Cotillard and Adam Driver teamed up for Annette, a musical drama coming to Prime Video later this week. Stand up comedian Henry (played by Driver) and his wife Ann (played by Cotillard) navigate parenthood via a stage play after the birth of their daughter, Annette. The deeply personal journey is sure to entertain musical fans. Plus, Adam Driver does almost all of his own singing! Check out Annette on Prime Video this Thursday, August 19th.

Nine Perfect Strangers – Hulu

Nicole Kidman continues to bolster her impressive TV record with Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers. She stars as Masha, the leader of a health and wellness clinic. When nine newcomers sign up for a ten day treatment at Masha’s resort, they quickly realize that not all is what it seems. Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans and Samara Weaving are also attached to star in Nine Perfect Strangers, which releases on Hulu this Wednesday, August 18th.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf – Netflix

After Henry Cavill dazzled fans of The Witcher franchise as the infamous Geralt of Rivia, it was no surprise that Netflix would expand on the series. Even though fans are still waiting for The Witcher: Season 2, they can finally return to the nasty world of ghouls and demons with The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The upcoming animated feature stars a young Vesemir (Geralt’s trainer) as he navigates the life of a Witcher. While it’s set long before the Butcher of Blaviken is born, there’s still plenty of monster hunting in this one. Check out The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf on Netflix this Sunday, August 22nd.

The Chair – Netflix

Following her successful run on Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve, Sandra Oh is back with Netflix’s The Chair. Oh is playing the first woman of color to become chair at a university, and must contend with exceedingly high expectations while trying to save the failing department. Check out The Chair when it debuts on Netflix this Thursday, August 19th.

Reminiscence – HBOMax

Hugh Jackman stars in Reminiscence, an upcoming sci-fi mystery. Set in a near-future flooded out Miami, Reminiscence follows Nicolas Bannister (played by Jackman), a man who allows people to relive their memories. After a client’s memories implicate Nicolas’s lover, Mae (played by Rebecca Ferguson), in a series of violent crimes, he sets out in search of the truth. Watch Reminiscence on HBOMax this Thursday, August 19th when it debuts on the platform.
