Winter (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
Winter is a 2026 British crime and mystery drama series created by Matt Baker and adapted by David Allison and Mark Greig from the French television series Balthazar. Starring Richard Armitage and Annabel Scholey, the six-part series follows a forensic pathologist and a police detective investigating complicated murder cases in Bristol.
Dr Ethan Winter is a brilliant forensic pathologist whose unusual investigative methods help the police uncover evidence and solve difficult crimes. He works alongside DI Lauren Bell, a determined detective who leads murder investigations.
While solving cases together, Winter continues searching for answers about the unsolved murder of his fiancée, Simone. His personal investigation becomes an ongoing part of the story as he struggles to uncover the truth about her death.
