Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is the second season of the American crime drama and mystery series developed by Clyde Phillips, continuing the story of Dexter Morgan from the original Dexter franchise. Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter, alongside Jack Alcott, Uma Thurman, James Remar, and new cast members Brian Cox and Dan Stevens.
Set in New York City, the season follows Dexter as he struggles to find purpose beyond his violent urges while his son, Harrison Morgan, begins his career with the NYPD. As a new murderer creates fear across the city, Dexter becomes involved in another dangerous investigation.
The story also introduces the New York Ripper, a notorious serial killer who continues to torment survivors of his earlier crimes, and the Five Borough Killer, another murderer operating in New York. Meanwhile, Charley returns after leaving the city at the end of the previous season.
