Soldier versus bug: that is basically the core tenant of 1997 sci-fi film Starship Troopers. While the premise sounds like it could be pretty campy, it is actually surprisingly, shockingly well done.

Repo! The Genetic Opera is a musical set in a universe where human organs (and more) sell for the highest price and immortality is the ultimate goal. The songs here are catchy, and Paris Hilton gives a surprising performance in a supporting role. The twisted musical has been done before (think: Sweeney Todd), but never quite like this. If you haven’t seen Repo! You are certainly missing out.
