The State of Man (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
The State of Man is a 2026 Australian documentary series presented by journalist Marc Fennell. The three-part series examines modern masculinity, the growing influence of the online manosphere, and how social media is shaping the attitudes and behaviour of boys and young men.
The investigation begins after Fennell notices online recommendations leading his children from Pokémon videos to content about masculinity and gender roles. He follows the influence of social media algorithms, meets controversial online personalities, and investigates the businesses profiting from young men’s insecurities.
