The Death of Robin Hood (2026) Synopsis

The Death of Robin Hood follows the legendary outlaw Robin Hood (Hugh Jackman) as he struggles with the painful memories of a life filled with crime and murder. After surviving a brutal battle that he believes will be his last, Robin finds himself gravely wounded and facing an uncertain future. His journey takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious woman offers him an opportunity to confront his troubled past. As he reflects on the people he has hurt, the once-feared outlaw begins questioning the stories that turned him into a legend. Rather than presenting Robin as a traditional hero, the film explores guilt, redemption, morality, and the true cost of violence. His struggle becomes an emotional journey through the darker side of a familiar medieval tale. With its combination of historical drama, psychological tension, and intense action, the movie offers a haunting reinterpretation of the Robin Hood legend.
