Slo Pitch (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
Slo Pitch is a 2026 Canadian comedy series created by J Stevens, Karen Knox, and Gwenlyn Cumyn and based on their earlier short-form series of the same name. The mockumentary-style series stars Jess Salgueiro as Joanne Pico, the coach of the Public Lass Brovaries, a queer beer-league softball team that has spent years near the bottom of the standings.
After Joanne is dumped by her longtime girlfriend and team co-founder, she enters the new season determined to turn the Brovaries into a winning team. Things become more complicated when her ex joins a rival team, leaving Joanne with something extra to prove as she guides her unpredictable group through games, rivalries, fundraising problems, relationships, and life away from the field.
