Return to Paradise Season 3 Synopsis
Return to Paradise Season 3 is the third season of the Australian crime mystery drama series that follows Detective Sergeant Mackenzie Clarke as she investigates murders in the coastal town of Dolphin Cove while dealing with complications in her personal life. The series is a spin-off of the British crime drama Death in Paradise and was co-created by Peter Mattessi, James Hall and Robert Thorogood.
Anna Samson returns as Detective Sergeant Mackenzie Clarke, alongside Lloyd Griffith as Detective Senior Constable Colin Cartwright, Catherine McClements as Senior Sergeant Philomena Strong, and Tai Hara as Glenn Strong. The new season also introduces Kerry Armstrong as Mackenzie’s mother, Jillian Clarke, and Jacob Collins as the town’s new pathologist, Leo Drake.
Following Glenn’s departure from Dolphin Cove, Mackenzie focuses on her police work and continues investigating unusual murder cases with Colin. Their investigations include an artist killed in front of an audience, a wildlife park employee found dead inside a locked animal enclosure, and a film director murdered during a screening.
Away from the investigations, Mackenzie faces new personal challenges when her estranged mother arrives in town. Meanwhile, the arrival of Leo Drake creates another complication in her life, while her unresolved relationship with Glenn remains an important part of the story.
