North of North Season 2 is a new season of the Canadian comedy series that follows Siaja, a young Inuk mother trying to build an independent life in the fictional Arctic community of Ice Cove. Created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, the series stars Anna Lambe as Siaja, alongside Maika Harper as her mother Neevee and Jay Ryan as her estranged father Alistair.
Season 2 picks up nearly a year into Siaja’s new life as she balances motherhood, a full-time job, dating and her increasingly complicated family relationships. With winter settling over Ice Cove, she works on new projects for the community while searching for a home of her own and continuing to build a relationship with Alistair. At the same time, the discovery that she has an older sister creates a new conflict between Siaja’s desire to learn more about her family and Neevee’s wish to leave the past behind.
