La Favorita 1922 is a 2025 Spanish period drama series created by Paula Fernández, Gema R. Neira, Curro Serrano, and Ramón Campos. Set in Madrid in 1922, the series stars Verónica Sánchez as Elena de Valmonte, a marchioness who leaves her unhappy marriage to Adolfo and sets out to build a new life.
After escaping her husband, Elena finds shelter in a restaurant that has been closed for some time. Rather than return to her former life, she decides to reopen the business and recruits a group of skilled cooks and maids to help her.
However, running a restaurant proves more complicated than Elena initially imagined. As the women work together to establish the business, they face personal disagreements, financial pressures, and the social expectations of 1920s Spain.
