Church Wives is a 2026 American drama series produced by aTwist in partnership with BET. The series stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Clarice, Amberlin Morse, Kiana Nicole Washington, and Cortez Adams, with Bryant also serving as an executive producer.
Set inside a prominent megachurch, the story follows two ambitious women competing for an influential leadership position within the congregation. What begins as a seemingly respectful rivalry gradually develops into a struggle for control, recognition, and influence.
As the competition grows, ordinary church activities, including committee meetings, fundraising events, and Bible studies, become opportunities for strategic moves and shifting alliances. Both women attempt to strengthen their positions while navigating personal relationships and the expectations of their religious community.
Their rivalry eventually affects other members of the congregation, raising questions about loyalty, ambition, and the difference between public devotion and private motivations.
