Mirai: Super Yodha is set in a mythological-modern world that begins after the Kalinga War, where Emperor Ashoka of the Maurya dynasty renounces violence and creates nine sacred scriptures (grandhas). These ancient texts hold divine powers that can transform mortals into gods.
Centuries later, a feared warlord named Mahabir Lama, leader of a dark organization called The Black Sword, sets out to capture all nine grandhas to gain godlike power. He succeeds in obtaining eight but fails to seize the ninth and most powerful one, Amaragrandha.
Meanwhile, Vedha Prajapati, a small-time thief unaware of his destiny, learns that he is the chosen protector of the last grandha.
