Line of Fire Synopsis
Line of Fire is a 2026 American family action thriller and crime drama series created by Joshua Safran for NBC. Starring Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Kat Cunning, Tommy O’Brien and Taylor Bloom, the series follows the Hollingsworth family, whose members work across the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice, as a murder investigation develops into a larger conspiracy that forces them to cross professional boundaries while trying to protect one another.
The series is loosely inspired by executive producer Jenna Bush Hager’s experiences with the U.S. Secret Service. Safran wrote the pilot, with Rebecca Thomas directing, while Universal Television produces the series.
