Hunkkaar: The Roar is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller and courtroom drama series created by Nitya Mehra and directed by Nitya Mehra and Karan D. Kapadia, with Heeraz Marfatia and Ravinder Randhawa among the writers. The six-episode series stars Aneet Padda as 17-year-old Meenu Rawat, who accuses powerful spiritual leader Sunil “Baapji” Chakosi of sexual assault, while ACP Jasleen Singh Soin investigates the case and Meenu faces a difficult legal fight against a man backed by influence, faith and a large following.
The cast also includes Fatima Sana Shaikh, Raghubir Yadav, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Arjun Mathur, Ram Kapoor, Zoya Hussain, Rajesh Sharma and Charu Shankar.
