Synopsis
First Dates Season 26 is a new season of the British reality dating series created by Ana de Moraes, following single people who meet for the first time on blind dates at a specially designed restaurant. Hosted by French maître d’hôtel Fred Sirieix, the Channel 4 series brings together people from different backgrounds, ages and lifestyles who hope to find a romantic connection.
Each participant is matched with a potential partner based on their interests and preferences. Cameras follow their first meeting, dinner conversations and interactions as they get to know each other. At the end of the evening, both participants decide whether they would like to see each other again.
The new season introduces another group of singletons, including TikTok personality Daniella, The Traitors contestant Meryl, footballer Carlos and great-grandmother Margo. Their dates explore different expectations about relationships, personal experiences and the challenges of meeting someone new.
