Amber plays Mera, Aquaman’s love interest, who is trying to help him become king to prevent war between two underwater kingdoms. Her powerful performance adds depth to Mera’s character that would have otherwise been missing due to a lack of development in the script.

Justice League(2017)

Justice League was another DC Comics superhero film directed by Zack Snyder which follows Batman(Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman(Gal Gadot), Flash(Ezra Miller), Aquaman(Jason Momoa), Cyborg(Ray Fisher), Superman(Henry Cavill) teaming up together against Steppenwolf trying to take over Earth. In this movie, Heard plays Mera again. However, this time around, she has more development and screen time than Aquaman, giving us more insight into her character.
