Ethan Hawke returns as Lee Raybon, alongside Ryan Kiera Armstrong as his daughter Francis. The new season also introduces Tommy Lee Jones as Lee’s estranged father, Lee Raybon Sr., Betty Gilpin as public defender Ginger, and Martha Plimpton as Sheriff Vela Thorne.
The story begins when Lee receives a local journalism award and meets Ginger, a public defender involved in a complicated criminal case. His decision to help her leads him into an investigation involving a murder, a missing prisoner, and corruption among Tulsa’s wealthy residents.
Meanwhile, Lee’s personal life becomes more complicated when his estranged father unexpectedly returns to Tulsa. Although Lee has little interest in rebuilding their relationship, Francis wants to get to know her grandfather, creating new tensions within the family.
