Golden Axe (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
Golden Axe is a 2026 American animated fantasy comedy series created by Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler, based on Sega’s Golden Axe video game franchise. The series features Matthew Rhys, Danny Pudi, Lisa Gilroy, Liam McIntyre, and Carl Tart, and follows legendary warriors Gilius Thunderhead, Ax Battler, and Tyris Flare as they reunite to save Yuria from Death Adder, an enemy who refuses to stay defeated.
Their mission becomes more complicated when Hampton Squib, an inexperienced adventurer with big dreams of becoming a hero, joins the group. Despite their different personalities and abilities, the warriors must work together as they travel across Yuria and prepare for another confrontation with Death Adder.
