The Varnell Hill Show Synopsis
The Varnell Hill Show is a 2026 series that follows Varnell Hill as he tries to keep his place in the changing world of late-night television. He has spent years building his name and his show, but staying successful becomes harder when the network decides it is time for something new.
Varnell soon finds himself dealing with executives who want to modernize the show, a writers’ room that rarely goes smoothly, celebrity guests and problems with his family. It does not help that Varnell has his own strong opinions about how things should be done, which often puts him at odds with the people around him.
The comedy gives Tommy Davidson’s Varnell Hill, first introduced on Martin, a show of his own. This time, viewers get to see what happens behind the scenes as Varnell tries to hold onto the television career he worked so hard to build.
