Lazarus (2025) TV Series Synopsis
Lazarus is an upcoming action-packed anime series directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, the creator of Cowboy Bebop. Set in the futuristic year 2052, the story centers on a Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist, Dr. Skinner, who develops a miracle drug called Hapna that cures all diseases. However, in 2055, he reveals a horrific truth: Hapna has a three-year half-life and will soon begin killing everyone who took it. In response, a special global task force codenamed “Lazarus” is formed—five elite agents must find Skinner and stop the looming catastrophe.
