What We Do in the Shadows: Season 3

Hit FX comedy What We Do in the Shadows is back for season 3 this Thursday, September 2nd. Based on the popular Taika Waititi film of the same name, the vampire focused TV show has been a smashing success with both audiences and critics alike. The show follows the daily lives of a group of vampires who live together in present day Staten Island. Think The Office, but with vampires instead. Check out the third season of What We Do in the Shadows this Thursday, when it heads to FX on Hulu.

Worth

Worth is an upcoming political drama starring Michael Keaton, Stanley Tucci and Amy Ryan. The film follows Kenneth Feinberg, a D.C. lawyer who is placed in charge of the support fund for victims of 9/11. Through a series of political infighting and arguments over distribution of funds, Feinberg discovers himself and the value of life. Watch Worth on Netflix when it hits the platform this Friday, September 3rd.

Cinderella

Camila Cabello stars in Amazon Prime’s upcoming Cinderella rendition. This reworking of the classic fairy tale will take the story and spin it into a modern setting. Notably, the soundtrack for the remake is performed by Cabello and the cast. Check out this live action Cinderella on Amazon Prime this Friday, September 3rd, when it hits the streamer.

Untold: Crimes & Penalties

Netflix popular Untold series released its latest documentary on Monday. Untold: Crimes & Penalties tells the story of a group of hockey players who had it all. That is until the team’s penchant for violence and alleged of mob ties were uncovered. Check out this stranger-than-fiction documentary on Netflix right now.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Arguably the biggest release of the week is Marvel Studio’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The latest entry into Marvel’s highly anticipated Phase 4 hits theaters later this week. Shang-Chi promises to introduce a number of characters to the growing franchise and will set a precedent for the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Marvel fans will have to watch this one in theaters when it releases Friday, they won’t have to wait long to stream at home. According to Disney lead Bob Chapek, the release date for Shang-Chi is sort of an experiment, like the Black Widow release. Word on the street is that it will be available to stream 45 days after the theatrical release on September 3rd. So, be sure to watchlist Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings so you can be notified when it heads to your services!

There you have it! For a complete rundown of what’s new, coming and leaving your services head over to Reelgood for the latest on streaming availability. As for the most popular titles of the week, be sure to check out our Weekly Top Ten list, which is updated every Friday.
