If I had to choose between Damien Thorn from The Omen and Freddie Kruger to haunt my dreams, I’d pick Freddie all the way! There’s just something unsettling about evil kids in movies that is far more terrifying than even the worst grown-up boogie man. Maybe it’s their deceptive innocence or their sweet little laugh? That deceptively clueless look in their eyes? Whatever it is, it sends chills down my spine every time.
Here are 9 of the evilest little kids to grace our screens this Halloween season.
This 1956 film about a murderous little blonde girl who attempts to deceive those around her about her true nature. Watch this space for streaming info on the 2018 Lifetime remake starring Rob Lowe and Mckenna Grace that’s premiering on Sept 9th.

Samara takes “ghost on a revenge mission” to a whole new level. I suppose we are supposed to feel sorry for her a bit. She was trapped in that well and all. But there’s nothing she can say or do that will make me forgive her for the nightmares I suffered after watching The Ring for the first time.

There’s really nothing scarier than seeing little Michael Myers cold-bloodedly kill one of his classmates and then his parents. This film was not well-reviewed, but for me, this is one of the most terrifying moments in the entire Halloween catalog. I can’t wait for the 2018 installment.
I’m sure every parent of a little boy has a moment where they think to themselves: “My son is actually the devil.” Thankfully, these moments pass. In Damien Thorn’s case, his (adoptive) parents were all too right.
PROTIP: Don’t try to bring a loved one back to life. It can only end badly! Unfortunately for Gage Creed’s father, he did not follow this advice and was forced to see his little boy turn into a monster.
Macaulay Culkin as the psychotic and murderous Henry is maybe one of the scariest things I watched as a child. You can’t put Elijah Wood and the kid from Home Alone in a movie together and expect kids and pre-teens not to watch it. It just doesn’t work!

Two words: Mutant. Children. (I’ve already said too much.)
This 1960 classic is set in a small English village in which everyone suddenly falls unconscious. When they awake, they find that all the women in the town are pregnant. That’s not suspicious at all, you guys! The children are all blonde, pale-eyed weirdo freaks that will haunt your dreams forever and ever. (And ever and ever, amen.)
What’s scarier than evil kids? Evil Amish kids, of course! In this 1984 horror film, a young boy named Isaac compels all of the children in town to join him in a killing spree. Super fun!
