The American TV series Hannibal is a psychological horror-thriller developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC. The characters and plot points in the series are drawn from Thomas Harris’ novels Red Dragon (1981), Hannibal (1999), and Hannibal Rising (2006). The film’s central character is Will Graham, a skilled FBI profiler of criminals recruited by Jack Crawford, the bureau’s chief of behavioral sciences, to assist in investigating a Minnesota serial killer. She is devoted to her job and genuinely cares about other people. Due to her faith in her abilities and self-confidence, Alana is more competent in advocating for herself and others.     Mason Verger, played by Michael Pitt, is the son of one of Baltimore, Maryland’s most affluent and politically connected families. Mason enjoys sexual violence and brutality, which includes abusing children and tormenting animals. Additionally, he engages in autoerotic asphyxiation and relishes using antiseptic probes to extract children’s tears to spice his cocktails. Verger was given drugs by Lecter, who then persuaded him to hang himself and chop off most of his individual skin with a fragment of broken glass before feeding it to his pets.
