Hudson & Rex Season 9 is a new season of the Canadian crime drama series that follows police detective Charlie Hudson and his German Shepherd partner Rex as they investigate crimes in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Created by Ken Cuperus and based on the Austrian-Italian series Kommissar Rex, the season brings John Reardon back as Charlie Hudson alongside Diesel vom Burgimwald as Rex, Mayko Nguyen as Dr. Sarah Truong, Kevin Hanchard as Superintendent Joseph Donovan, Justin Kelly as Jesse Mills, and Luke Roberts as Detective Mark Hudson.
Charlie returns to St. John’s after leaving to search for his missing brother, bringing unfinished business from Belize with him.
