Best Medicine Season 2 is a new season of the comedy-drama series that follows Dr. Martin Best as he continues working as the general practitioner in the small East Coast fishing village of Port Wenn. Created by Liz Tuccillo and based on the British series Doc Martin, the show stars Josh Charles as Martin, alongside Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra, Cree, Annie Potts, Stephen Spinella and Jason Veasey.
The new season picks up with Martin facing the consequences of the medical board investigation after he allowed his assistant Elaine to draw blood because of his own blood phobia. While dealing with the investigation, Martin continues treating Port Wenn’s residents and navigating his complicated relationships with the people who have gradually become part of his life.
