Captive (2026 TV Series) Synopsis

Captive, also known by its original title Cautiva, is a 2026 Argentine Spanish-language drama miniseries directed by Paula Hernández and Jazmín Stuart and written by Hernández, Leonel D’Agostino and Pablo Lago. Inspired by a real case involving religious abuse in Argentina, the six-part series stars Carolina Kopelioff as Clara and Lorena Vega as Priora Cecilia, alongside Rita Cortese, Julieta Zylberberg, Valeria Lois, Tomás Wicz and Luis Ziembrowski.

The story follows Clara, a young woman who enters a cloistered convent to pursue her religious vocation.
