R.J. Decker Season 2 is a new season of the crime comedy-drama series that follows former newspaper photographer and ex-con R.J. Decker as he continues working as a private investigator in South Florida. Created by Carl Hiaasen and Rob Doherty and inspired by Hiaasen’s novel Double Whammy, the series stars Scott Speedman as R.J., alongside Jaina Lee Ortiz, Bevin Bru, Kevin Rankin and Adelaide Clemens.
The new season picks up after the death of Victor Ochoa, whose murder puts the people closest to him under scrutiny and creates new problems for R.J. and Emi. As R.J. continues investigating unusual cases around South Florida, Beau Bridges joins the story as Reggie Decker, R.J.’s estranged father.
