The Assembly Canada Season 2 Synopsis
The Assembly Canada Season 2 is the second season of the Canadian unscripted interview series featuring a group of autistic and neurodivergent interviewers who ask celebrities direct, personal, and unexpected questions. Produced by Small Army Entertainment for CBC, the series is adapted from the French television format Les Rencontres du Papotin.
The second season brings together more than 30 autistic and neurodivergent interviewers, including returning participants and newcomers. Across six episodes, they interview actor Hudson Williams, Olympic hockey player Marie-Philip Poulin, actor Jay Baruchel, actress and model Ashley Callingbull, singer-songwriter Lights, and comedian Zach Galifianakis.
Each episode features a different celebrity answering questions about their personal experiences, careers, relationships, and everyday lives. The interviews follow an open format in which participants can ask questions that are rarely heard in traditional celebrity interviews.
