Mother Promise (2026) Synopsis
Mother Promise centers on a gambler who loses everything in Bengaluru and suddenly finds himself desperate to escape the consequences. His problems quickly grow as he is pursued by dons, smugglers, and other misfits. Instead of finding a simple way out, every new encounter appears to pull him deeper into the chaos. The story takes an unusual family turn when his own mother joins the pursuit. What follows is a fast-moving combination of crime, comedy, family drama, and thriller elements. Beneath all the disorder is a story built around family bonds and a promise that carries particular weight for the characters. The result is a Kannada comedy-drama thriller that uses an increasingly messy chase to explore how far people will go when family enters the equation.
