Paolo (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
Paolo is a 2026 French psychological thriller series created and directed by Sébastien Marnier and written by Marnier and Juliette Soubrier. Adapted from Marnier’s novel Mimi, the series stars Jérôme Niel as Paolo, a working-class man whose quiet life changes when he reconnects with Téophane Tolbiac, played by Yoann Gasiorowski, an old schoolmate who is now running for mayor.
Paolo becomes fascinated by Téophane and begins trying to enter his inner circle and support his political campaign. What starts as admiration gradually develops into an unhealthy obsession as Paolo becomes increasingly involved in Téophane’s life.
