Youth (2026 TV Series) Synopsis
Youth is a 2026 comedy-drama series created and written by Sharon Horgan and directed by Dawn Shadforth. The series stars Horgan as Alex, a 50-year-old divorcée trying to make room for dating and a life of her own while caring for her ailing parents, dealing with a demanding job and parenting her 19-year-old son Ruari.
Alex works as a book agent for her friend and boss Sam and expects to have more time to herself when Ruari leaves London for university in Kent. Those plans quickly change when he unexpectedly returns home, leaving Alex to balance family responsibilities with her personal life while she finds herself drawn to bachelor Patrick and other potential partners.
