Wisdom of the Crowd is a 2026 British entertainment quiz series created by Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach and hosted by John Bishop. Inspired by scientist Francis Galton’s observations about the collective accuracy of a large group, the show puts individual contestants against the combined knowledge of the studio audience, with up to £30,000 at stake.
Contestants answer questions that require numerical estimates while members of the crowd submit their own guesses. The individual player must try to give an answer closer to the correct figure than the crowd’s combined answer, creating a contest between individual judgement and collective knowledge.
