Daughters of 9/11 is a 2026 American documentary film directed by Marc Levin that examines the continuing search for justice 25 years after the September 11 attacks. The documentary follows Elizabeth Miller and Jessica Trant, who lost their fathers in the attacks, alongside FBI Special Agent Frank Pellegrino as they confront questions surrounding Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the accused mastermind of the attacks, and why his case has still not reached a final resolution.
Miller was six years old when her father, New York City firefighter Douglas Miller, died at the World Trade Center, while Trant was 19 when her father, bond salesman Daniel Trant, died on the 104th floor of the North Tower. Despite holding different views about what accountability should look like, the two women share a determination to understand the long-delayed legal process and seek answers for their families and others affected by the attacks.
