Courage the Cowardly Dog is a 1999 American animated comedy and fantasy series created by John R. Dilworth. The series follows Courage, a timid pink dog who lives with Muriel and Eustace Bagge at an isolated farmhouse in Nowhere, Kansas, where he regularly encounters monsters, strange creatures, supernatural events, and other unusual threats.
Although Courage is easily frightened, he repeatedly tries to protect Muriel and Eustace whenever something dangerous arrives at their home. The series mixes comedy, fantasy, horror-inspired stories, and family animation, with Courage often having to solve bizarre problems despite his fear.
