Adapted from Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel Devdas and also drawing inspiration from Bonnie and Clyde, the film follows Devadas, a troubled outlaw whose life becomes intertwined with Parvathi and later Chandra. After encountering Chandra, an exploited woman caught in a violent world, Devadas helps her escape and she eventually joins his gang, leading the pair into a conflict involving crime, revenge, corrupt police officers, and a fight for survival.
