Loot Season 3 (2025) Synopsis
Apple TV+’s hit comedy Loot returns with its highly anticipated third season. Created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, the series continues the chaotic yet heartfelt journey of Molly Wells (Maya Rudolph) — a billionaire divorcee trying to find meaning in her lavish yet lonely life.
After securing an $87 billion divorce settlement from her tech mogul ex-husband John Novak (Adam Scott), Molly has reinvented herself as the head of the Wells Foundation, a philanthropic organization with good intentions but plenty of dysfunction. Season 3 picks up directly after the dramatic Season 2 finale, where Molly fled aboard her private jet with her loyal assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) following an awkward confrontation with the billionaire community and unresolved romantic tension with Arthur (Nat Faxon).
Now, Molly must navigate new challenges as she doubles down on her promise to give away her fortune — all while balancing fame, failure, and flirtations. With Sofia (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez) struggling to manage the foundation’s chaos, and Howard (Ron Funches) stirring up comic mayhem, the Wells team finds itself more entangled than ever in the world of high-stakes charity and ridiculous wealth.
