A few weeks ago, we reviewed Ali Wong’s newest Netflix comedy special, Hard Knock Wife. But that’s not the only comedy special that’s worth checking out on Netflix. In fact, it’s increasingly becoming the place to go to discover new (or not so new) comics.

So if you’re in need of a laugh, check out these 10 Netflix comedy specials.

Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life

Watching these two giants of comedy play off of each other is nothing short of magical. When it’s a duo on stage, especially when there’s a little music involved, there’s a little fear that it could seem overly rehearsed and put on. Luckily, there are some genuine moments here that are truly delightful.

Michael Che: Che Matters

It’s been two years since Michael Che’s Netflix special came out, but his controversial and topical subject matter still seems more relevant than ever.

Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark

It seems like Trevor Noah has been everywhere since he started hosting The Daily Show. If your only exposure to this charming South African transplant is through the late night talk show and you haven’t ever had the pleasure of seeing his stand-up, you’re in for a treat.

Todd Glass: Act Happy

Act Happy was recorded in a much more intimate and casual setting than many of the specials on this list and just feels right, kind of like riffing with one of your funniest, fast-tongued friends.

The Standups

A little different from the rest of the specials, The Standups is a series that brings us many different faces of stand-up. The result is something fresh and hilarious every time.

Tig Notaro: Happy to Be Here

Tig is known for her very laid back style and candid self-deprecating humor. If you’re here for that, then you definitely need to check out Happy to Be Here.

Kevin Hart: What Now?

For this 2016 special, the hilarious Kevin Hart performed in front of a historic crowd of fifty thousand. Thanks to Netflix, we don’t have to deal with the nosebleed seats.

Jerry Seinfeld: Jerry Before Seinfeld

For fans of Jerry Seinfeld, this 2017 special is a must-watch. For the rest of us, it’s certainly a vehicle on the fast track to becoming a Seinfeld fan.

John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City

*The clip above is from another Netflix special also featuring John Mulaney, because for some reason there’s no trailer out for Kid Gorgeous. Crazy, we know.

If there’s one word that could be used to describe John Mulaney’s style of comedy, it would probably be disarming. Kid Gorgeous is not Mulaney’s only Netflix special, so if you’re dying for more after this, check out his earlier specials, New In Town and The Comeback Kid

Ali Wong: Baby Cobra

You guys already know that we love Ali Wong. Baby Cobra was her first Netflix special, which came out when she was relatively unknown. If you liked Hard Knock Wife, then you’re going to love this one as well.
